Updates about Raine:

- Is potty trained (what a relief!)
- Still loves dancing
- Sings all the time (especially ABC and Twinkle Little Star)
- loves telling stories
- Has moved to the Preschool side at her school.
- Loves transportation (bus, train, truck, firetruck, airplane, etc)
- No more mumus (pacifiers)

Cute conversations from Raine:

At a food store, Raine was with her Aunt Stacy, and Kim (Stacy's friend). They picked out Dora popsicles. This conversation is spoken verbally.

Raine: The popsicles are tasty.
Kim: Really? The popsicles are tasty?
Raine: Yeah that's what I said, they're tasty.

--------

Few hours before Aunt Stacy and Uncle Jody flew back east. Raine was saying each of our names.

Mommy: No that's Jody (pointing to Stacy) and that's Stacy (pointing to Jody)
Raine: *rolling her eyes* and you're Raine and I'm Mommy.

Raine gave us this "duh!" look on her face. We all laughed.

--------

Other day, Raine and I went food shopping. Then as we were driving back home.

Raine: Mom! Mom! Monkey's gonna eat all of the food!
Mommy: Really?
Raine: Yes! Better go to the house so monkey can't eat the food!
Mommy: *nods* ok
Raine: Monkey can't go in the house. The monkey stay outside. Hurry home Mommy!

Later that night...

Mommy: What are you doing out of bed?
Raine: Monkey's coming to get me in my bed
Mommy: There's no monkey
Raine: There's a monkey outside, he's coming in to get me
Mommy: There's no monkey outside
Raine: I saw monkey on TV
Mommy: But there's no monkeys coming to get you, you can go back to bed, do a good job and go to sleep.
Raine: Ok good night Mommy, love you.

--------

At Sonic Drive-In, I ordered three drinks, but only Raine and I were in the car.

Raine: Mommy, is that for Daddy?
Mommy: *laughs*

I was amazed that she was able to count two different things, 3 drinks, and 2 people in the car, makes her think "that last drink must be for daddy".

--------

This is a sequence of Raine's conversation with Jody. She was talking about Jody and Stacy flying home that night.
